Ashley Zibura
Dr. Ashley Zibura grew up in rural Maine and is excited to return back to New England and launch Veterinary Eye Center – Massachusetts. Dr. Zibura worked in a large multi-specialty hospital prior to joining the Veterinary Eye Center - New York City in 2022. In her tenure, she has seen how impactful an ophthalmology-focused practice can be.
Her clinical interests include: corneal disease, cataract surgery, corrective eyelid surgery, and management of ocular pain.
In her spare time, Dr. Zibura enjoys traveling, running, and watching movies with her husband and their rescue pets.

Kristen Gervais
Dr. Kristen Gervais grew up near Worcester and has been practicing ophthalmology in Massachusetts since 2017. She joined the VEC Mass team in 2024. In addition to excellent patient care, her clinical priorities include providing a clear understanding of each patient’s ocular condition and tailoring treatment recommendations on a patient- and owner-specific basis.
Her clinical interests in ophthalmology include management of ocular surface diseases and all aspects of ophthalmic microsurgery. Other interests include vision science, comparative ocular anatomy and physiology, and genetics of ocular disease.
Dr. Gervais lives in the Metrowest area with her three dogs. She enjoys mountain biking, climbing, swimming, music, and DIY home projects.
